Questions

What if I don't answer?

By default we call again 2, 5 and 8 minutes later, then text you and, if you use the app, set off its backup alarm. Retries and snoozes never cost extra: one wake-up call is one wake-up call, however many tries it takes.

Which countries can you call?

Call Me Awake calls phone numbers in 32 countries today. The pricing page lists them. A country that is not listed cannot be added to a wake-up call yet.

Do you record calls?

No. Calls are not recorded.

Can I stop calls?

Yes. Press 9 on any call and every call on your account stops until you turn them back on. You can also reply STOP to any text from us, pause or delete a wake-up call in the app or on the web, or delete your account.

Is the voice a person?

No. It is an automated voice, and every call says so in its first sentence: "This is Call Me Awake, your automated wake-up call."

What counts as one wake-up call?

One scheduled call is one wake-up call, however many retries or snoozes it takes. A test call from Settings counts as one; the demo call on this site is free. A call nobody answered still counts, because we placed it.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial lasts 7 days from your first verified number or 7 wake-up calls, whichever comes first, and needs no card. After that a scheduled call is not placed until you pick a plan, and we tell you when that happens instead of letting a call silently not ring.

What are Tier A and Tier B countries?

Tier A countries are the everyday ones and cost one wake-up call each. A Tier B destination is more expensive for us to call, so on a subscription it counts as more than one wake-up call; the pricing page shows how many.

Can I use the API or connect an assistant?

Yes. API and MCP access are included in every paid plan, so you can set a call from your own code, or tell Claude or ChatGPT "Wake me at 6:30 tomorrow, Tokyo time" once you have connected it.

Can I get a wake-up call?

Yes. The first ones are on us.
