Call Me Awake Start free

For travelers

Wake up in the time zone you'll be in.

Most alarms follow your phone. If your phone changes zones while you sleep, or you set the alarm before you fly, you find out the hard way. A Call Me Awake wake-up call is pinned to a place, and says so every time it is shown.

Every call is pinned to a place

You don't set "6:30". You set 6:30 AM Tokyo time. The place and the clock time are the call; the exact moment it rings is worked out from them, with the time zone rules in force on that day. You always see the place next to the time, and the offset from UTC in every email and text we send.

  • Set it before you go

Plan Monday's call in Tokyo from your couch in Los Angeles. It rings at 6:30 AM Tokyo time, whatever your phone's clock says.

  • We ask when you land

When your phone arrives somewhere new, it asks: "Move your 6:30 Los Angeles call to 6:30 Tokyo?" Keep it or move it. We never move a call without your say-so.

  • Clock changes are handled

A wake time that doesn't exist on the night clocks jump forward, like 2:30 AM Los Angeles time in March, rings when the gap ends. A time that happens twice rings at the first one. These cases have tests.

See it for yourself

Pick a city and a time. We show what that is where you are now, and the UTC instant the call is really scheduled for.

Where will you wake up?

For example: a call at 6:30 AM Tokyo time (UTC+9) rings at 21:30 UTC the evening before, whatever time zone your phone is in.

Early flights and one-off calls

Not a daily traveler? Set a one-off call, or "call me in 40 minutes" after you land. The free trial covers your first calls, and the pricing page has the plans.

Destinations other than our everyday countries count as more than one call on a subscription. The pricing page lists which countries are which.

Tell Claude or ChatGPT: "Wake me at 6:30 tomorrow, Tokyo time", or paste an itinerary and ask for a call each morning in each city. The assistant sets it through our MCP server, and every call it sets shows up in your app.
